Accsoon CineView SE Overview
The CineView SE Multi-Spectrum Wireless Video Transmission System from Accsoon has been updated from previous models with an even smaller and lighter form factor. With the SE, you can now send signal to a total of four devices simultaneously over distances up to 1200′ with only a 50ms delay, and you can still transmit to any mix of receivers and iOS/Android smartphones and tablets.
Like other models, the CineView SE allows you to send a 1080p60 camera signal to the included receiver plus up to three mobile devices. This versatile wireless video transmission system provides a cost-effective way of allowing four people on set to monitor an HDMI or SDI camera signal. Its Quad technology allows you to transmit exact copies of your transmission over 2.4 and 5 GHz signals for redundant, high-quality images.
The included dedicated receiver is easy to set up and pair, and it features an HDMI and SDI output. The free-to-download companion app installs on a tablet or smartphone and it features image tools such as peaking, zebras, false color for exposure, and .cube 3D LUT overlay, and new features include Smart Sharpening and Onion Skin overlay. The transmitter and receiver feature DC power inputs, USB Type-C power inputs, and they also support an optional L-series battery that can power the set for up to 12 hours.

I was really looking forward to upgrading my 2s Pro which provided everything I was looking for in a budget wireless TX/RX solution to what I was hoping was going to be this because of the much better form factor and size. However, I realize that the slots for the SDI ports on the units only fit cables with an end that were smaller than a specific diameter, any bigger and they are not able to be locked in. This is not a huge deal breaker but it is disappointing because I do have to buy additional SDI cables.

Works perfectly out of the box. Right now only running about 50 feet. But am confident this will provide great signal range

I was hopeful that the multi-spectrum would help with range and interference, however this isn’t even a clear picture when you’re standing within 0-25ft. Latency was a lot better than I expected, however there just isn’t enough sharpness in there to confidently pull focus. It also appeared to shift the color considerably pink.

I’m really surprised there are no reviews for this product. After reviewing a few of the major, lower-price wireless video solutions during NAB, I have to say they are all major improvements vs. what my teradek (no knock to them, their current line up is amazing) back in the day could do.
I choose to move forward with them because they are focused on wireless video AND, they are one of the few products that Tx both on 2.4 and 5GHz concurrently.
I just used the Accsoon out of the box for a major live stream with a few hundred attendees and it worked great! Major chance I took with them as I hadn’t had the chance to fully test the equipment prior.
The unit boots up quickly, we powered it via USB from our V mount battery, and it just worked great. When we did a battery swap, no issues.
I will pick up a few more of these as I’m really impressed with the quality and engineering.
